We, the Sisters of Nazareth, founded by Victoire Larmenier and inspired by the spirit of the Gospels, are committed to the mission entrusted to us by the Church. Together with the people of God, we aim to present the love of Christ to all, especially the poor, through the ministry of care and education. The Sisters of St John of God is a congregation of religious women within the Roman Catholic Church. We were founded in 1871 when a group of women responded to an invitation by Thomas Furlong, the Bishop of Ferns in County Wexford, Ireland, to minister to the sick and destitute people of his diocese.

The Daughters of Charity are a world wide community of women who seek and serve God in persons who are poor and marginalized, in a spirit of humility, simplicity and charity. We are motivated by the love of Christ, strengthened by deep prayer, and supported by a life in common.

The story of Blessed Edmund Rice has inspired generations of people across the world. Among the values that we cherish from his tradition are his generosity, his courage, his humanity, his love of God’s word in Scripture, his devotion to the Mother of God, his practical reaching out to the poor and oppressed, and his absolute trust in God’s providence.

For the Spiritans, the journey into the future is not a guided tour, but rather an around-the-world adventure. On this adventure, the Holy Spirit is in charge, and the needs of the people on the side of the road will determine the stops made.

The most important “reason for being” of the Society is that it has in common with the mission of Jesus Christ and of the Church, that is, “to revive faith and re-enkindle charity of the entire People of God and to spread the faith and charity in the world, so that soon there may be but one flock and one shepherd” (John 10,16).

We Salvatorians are called to follow Jesus Christ, the Divine Saviour, by living as community within the universal Church for apostolic service.
With our Founder, Father Francis Mary of the Cross Jordan, we proclaim to all people the salvation which has appeared in Jesus Christ, so that by the lives we live and in our apostolic activities, all may come "to know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent" (John 17:3), and have life in all its fullness.
