Christmas Blessings, dear Friends. Some times Christmas goes by in a blur of food, laughter, &wrapping paper. In all the busyness of festivity, we may miss the very reason for our celebration –Jesus. Over these days, it would be good for us to set aside a moment to celebrate His Birthday.  Perhaps ------ List the Blessings in your life. While you listen to Christmas music thinks of ways you and your family can become closer to Jesus, this Christmas into the year 2009.

Thankyou for all that has been done to make the celebration of Christmas special for us.

For Joy and peace at Christmas (Pause)

Joy is God’s gift to all the World. May Christmas be for us and for all people a time of joy and peace; and may all the nations of the earth rejoice at the birth of Jesus. LORD, HEAR US

For a renewed sense of hope in our world.   (Pause)

May our celebration of the birth of Jesus be a time for renewed hope in our world and may our joy and witness bring the good news of salvation to the whole human race.  LORD, HEAR US.

For thanksgiving at the birth of Jesus.   (Pause)                                       

Jesus is the Messiah, Christ the Lord. May we be thankful to our God for giving us a Saviour born today, bringing good news of peace and reconciliation to all the people of the world. .   LORD , HEAR US.

For Peace in our families.   (Pause)

May we experience peace in our families at this special time ; and may the spirit of Christmas be with our families and communities in all the year ahead. LORD, HEAR US
