Text Box:  Sr Therese Denny Director, Centre for Parish Life &  Mission The Centre was opened in 1997 to provide support and assistance to priests, people and parishes throughout the diocese. With a staff of three and the help of some generous volunteers from time to time, the work of the Centre has expanded rapidly as it attempts to assist all parishes with information, resources, faith education and formation opportunities and the involvement in outreach to those in need. Recently the Centre has started to reach out, via email, to the families who live in isolated and outback parts of the diocese. This is a way of providing these families with  diocesan, parish and other information and resources  that may be helpful and able to be used in their own situation.
