altThis is a process for preparing and welcoming new adult members into the Catholic Church.

The stages of this process begins with a series of Enquiry Evenings:

  • moves into a period of introduction to Church teachings,
  • study and reflection on the scriptures,
  • introduction to aspects of the community outreach,
  • leads to reception into the Church,
  • followed by a time of reflection on ways of living out the commitment in daily life.

Lyn is a Josephite Sister whose role in the Centre for Parish Life and Mission is Contact/Resource Person for Liturgy in the Diocese. She also co-ordinates the Cathedral Choir and plays the organ in the Cathedral. An important part of Lyn's Ministry is her involvement in Catholic Schools in the Geraldton area. She teaches liturgical singing at St Francis Xavier Primary School, St John's Rangeway and St Mary's Northampton.  Lyn supports the teachers in their preparation of material for sacramental celebrations, as well as playing for these special events. She has prepared a number of publications which have been distributed to schools and parishes in the Diocese to help with Liturgy, in their particular place.
