Marriage Information©Jenny DeMarco Photography & Austin Wedding Photography

In Marriage a man and a woman give themselves to each other in an exclusive life-long partnership. This love between a husband and wife is an opportunity to experience something of the love of God. The Church sees marriage as a sign of the unconditional love God has for all his people, and a sign of the unity in which all Christians are called to live.

A minimum amount of three months’ notice must be given to your chosen Priest to comply with both Government and Church regulations. Couples are urged by the Government to take part in a Marriage Preparation Programme, however we as Church also stress the importance of attending.

The Marriage Preparation Course at Centacare in Geraldton. To participate in this course download the brochure below and contact Centacare directly or go through your Priest.

It is important to note that the availability of the church may not always mean the availability of the Priest. Both must be booked before you commence further planning for your marriage. You do not necessarily need to use the Priest attached to that church and are welcome to invite another Priest from outside the Parish / Diocese to officiate the marriage.

Please phone the Parish office for any further enquiries.
